Remote Education

At Sele First School, we are committed to ensuring that all pupils continue to receive a high-quality education if they are unable to attend school in person. Our remote education provision is based on current Department for Education (DfE) guidance, Northumberland County Council expectations, safeguarding requirements and best practice from schools across the region. (GOV.UK)

Remote education will only be used where attendance at school is not possible but pupils are well enough to continue learning. We recognise that face-to-face education remains the best option for children and remote learning is intended to support continuity of education during short-term absence, emergency closure or exceptional circumstances.
