Year 4 Electrical Safety and Quiz Boards

With a focus on our creative habit of collaboration, Year 4 visited classrooms around the school to deliver electrical safety presentations. Using their knowledge of insulators and conductors, they were able to use scientific vocabulary and teamwork to educate younger children about the safe use of electricity.

Since then, we have created switches with our creative habit of imagination at the forefront of our minds. Our final project involved combining all of our electrical knowledge to create electric quiz boards. These boards connected questions and answers using electrical tape on the back. The children understood the importance of ensuring that the tape did not intersect with other pieces of tape connected to different answers, as this would create a short circuit and prevent the board from working correctly.
