Year 3 Week 5: Resus Rangers to the Rescue!
Pupils recently took part in an exciting and educational “Resus Rangers” session, where they learned important first aid and lifesaving skills in a fun, hands-on environment.
During the course, the children practised CPR techniques using their Teddy Bears, helping them understand how to respond confidently in an emergency. They also learned how to help someone who is choking and explored basic bandaging skills, practising carefully wrapping injuries and supporting one another during activities.
The interactive session gave pupils the chance to learn through role play and practical demonstrations, building both confidence and teamwork. Staff said the children showed fantastic enthusiasm throughout and were eager to take part in every activity.
One pupil said they enjoyed “learning how to help people if they get hurt".
At the end of the session, pupils proudly received certificates to celebrate becoming official “Resus Rangers.”
