Year 3 Week 3: Field of Dreams & Desert Scenes
This week in art, we became sculptors inspired by Antony Gormley and his famous Field for the British Isles. Using clay, we carefully shaped and moulded our own “Field for the Masses” sculptures, creating a powerful collection of tiny figures full of personality and expression.
We are now looking forward to combining our science learning about plants with the clay skills we have developed in art. Next, we will be designing and making our very own cactus pinch pots — bringing together creativity, sculpture, and our understanding of how plants survive in different environments!
