A trip to the Artist's Studio
Reception have been busy collaging, tracing dragons, creating portraits, mixing tonal colours and much more in preparation for our Take One Picture Open Day. This week, we had the chance to become artists in the Artist's Studio. Children worked on a collaborative piece to represent the cloak and gown or the Muse in the picture.
It's also an exciting milestone as children finish learning the 26 letters of the alphabet in phonics. From here they will begin to embed these sounds until they are confident, learn new two letter sounds and start to read simple words.
