And we’re off! Year 3 STEM kicked off with an exciting message from Yoda, explaining our mission to help the Rebel Alliance defeat the Dark Side. Our challenge? Designing and building a landing pad for the drones used in battle!

We began by brainstorming key design elements. Our landing pads must:
- Clearly indicate where the drones should land.
- Feature lights to signal when the pad is unavailable.
- Have a flat surface for a safe landing.
- Be inspired by the Star Wars universe.
- Be a fully 3D structure.
