Year 2's Sunflower Seed

In Science this half term, children are exploring the life cycle of a plant. This week they planted their very own class sunflower. 

Children discussed what the seed needs in order to grow and the importance of having each element. 

They listed the following:

• water
• sunlight
• warmth
• air
• soil
