Great North Air Ambulance Collection

It may not be looking very Spring like outside at the moment, but why not bring your Spring sort out forward? The GNAA will be at our school this term. So if your wardrobes and cupboards are bulging after Christmas please bag up your old clothes, shoes, bedding, towels etc. for a very worthwhile cause and just like last year, GNAA will pay our school by the weight collected. Letters and collection bags will be with you before half term. Tell all your friends and family - be ruthless, get clearing!

Children Undercover

Quad5.jpgA permanent cover is now in place over half of our outdoor play area opposite our Nursery and Reception classes.  This means that children can play and learn outside in all weathers.  Thank you to the PTA who contributed £8,000 in 2009 towards the cost of this shelter. It provides a valuable resource for the school and the children love to be outside. In the coming months we will be looking closely at the children's play to help us to decide what resources should go in the area.
